The Chris Matthews Show: am I the only one who sees how transparent he and his guests are? After all, these people are at the top in their fields, journalists, editors, Pulitzer Prize winning authors. But are the emperors naked?
Today, they were discussing Conservatives and Republicans criticism of BHO’s "beer summit." They played a clip of Rush Limbaugh stating that the beer summit diminishes the office of the presidency. “It’s all about Obama” said Rush, referring to his opinion that BHO's motivation is to be seen as the post-racial president, but in this case acted as just another race baiter. For Rush and his fellow Conservative commentators, they said, Obama is all about race. What a horrid bunch of low lifes these Conservatives are.
Later, for the last question of the show, Matthews asks his panel if they think BHO will ever inject another race comment again. Their answers, each and every one, was, “Well, sure he will. That’s who he is.”
So first they criticize Rush for saying that BHO is not the post racial president he claimed he wanted to be. Then they openly admit that BHO is not the post-racial president he claimed he wanted to be.
That's what I thought I said.
If Matthews had the moral fortitude or the intellectual honesty to put even one Conservative on his panel, I do not think they would have gotten away with it. That’s why Matthews almost never has opposing viewpoints on his show.
Naked? These top people in their field are indeed as naked as a baby's butt. Not a pretty sight.
